About Amy Farrar
Amy Farrar is a published book author and a seasoned freelance writer and editor. Her books include: A Jersey Girl's Guide to the Universe (A Memoir), Global Warming: Essential Viewpoints, ADHD, and The Indispensable Field Guide to Freelance Writing. She also edits numerous fiction and nonfiction books for individuals and publishers.
Amy has written articles for a wide variety of publications, including the Los Angeles Times and the Pioneer Press (travel articles), Minnesota and Wisconsin Bride magazines, Midwest Home magazine, Access Press, Minnesota Lawyer, The Circle newspaper, Wildlife Art magazine, and The Guidance Channel (online publication), among others.
Amy has also managed several publications, including International Wolf magazine, Lake Minnetonka magazine, and The New Egypt Press (a weekly newspaper in New Egypt, NJ). In addition, she has also done writing and editing projects for the renowned Mayo Clinic and a wide range of other nonprofit organizations and businesses.
Amy is a long-standing member of the Professional Editor’s Network (PEN). She has a BA in English from Rutgers University.
